Iphone tethering help
Does anyone know if its possible to tether through iphone through a wireless router in your home?
For example:
Iphone picks up home wifi connection ---> connects through usb on computer ---> connects to internet
The traditional tether solution will be to tether off your data plan using your 3G network but thats not exactly what I want here.

Sounds weird at first huh? lol
Reason being is because my desktop does not have a wireless card and is far away from my router and without a reasonably long ethernet cable, I can't
connect to my network. I don't have time to go pick up a powerline kit which is eventually what I was planning to do. I was just looking for a
temporary fix.
And if all are wondering, I did manage to find a way to accomplish this... apparently PdaNet allows for this and is exactly what I'm using right now
through my iPhone. Working great so far!

that's some fancy mcgyvering. you could buy a usb wifi adaptor for the cheap from monoprice or some other outfit.
