I finally recovered my password. I wonder why outie closed registration. Isn't it good thing to allow new people to join?

It doesn't seem it will ever happen. Members are aging, and have gone to other stuffs. And it seems forms are not very catchy to the younger crowd,
unless it's for very specific things..

aging and our interests changed, more importantly because outie.net failed to keep up with the social networking trend when tweeting and fb pretty
much replaced forums
at our current age when some of us start having kids and getting married, it makes more sense to focus on career and investment related stuffs for
example. we no longer are those kids who don't need to worry about what to cook for dinner and when the bills are due
i think reforming outie and making it focusing on trends and speculations can be a way out, like bitcoins or other kinds of trading, VR/AR, mobile
evolution, etc. this is a rather vague direction, but at least that's something i will be interested in. i think we're over with music, porn, and
interesting stuffs, even we do want them, there are easier ways to get them elsewhere
